“Vermont and the Bright Green Nothing” is a 100% independently financed documentary feature film. A rare breed these days. It began on Kickstarter in 2012 and ended nearly a decade later.

It’s been a loooong road. Lots of unexpected detours, potholes and exits.

Are there still bills to pay? Yes and yes (including loans to pay back). And not just past and current bills, but future bills associated with preparing this documentary for a wider audience, such as broadcast rights for certain images and footage.

Film crews and I traveled to a dozen states to get this story. I shot hundreds of hours of footage, spent years researching, shooting and editing.
